The BrightSteps Initiative has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Jefferson Community Foundation to grow its youth mentorship program. The funding will allow the nonprofit to onboard 50 new mentors and serve an additional 200 students across three counties.

“This grant means real connection, real consistency, and real change for hundreds of kids,” said Chloe Davis, Executive Director. “We’re beyond grateful.”

The funds will be used for training, matching, and the launch of a new digital mentor tracking system.
