BrightSteps Initiative has announced the launch of its newest program: Strong Minds, Bright Futures, a mental health support initiative aimed at providing teens with tools to navigate anxiety, stress, and trauma. The program will offer free monthly workshops, school-based peer groups, and access to licensed counselors.

“Too many young people are carrying silent burdens,” said Riley Chen, Programs Director. “We want them to know it’s okay to ask for help—and that help is here.”

The pilot program begins in Jefferson County and will expand regionally in 2026.
